Third International Marble Sculpture Symposium of the town of Grasse

Event in partnership with the town of Carrare, twinned with the town of Grasse.


From the 22 of June to the 10th of July 2009, 9 sculptors from all over the world will adapt a block of
marble and will transform it into a monumental sculpture under the eyes of the people, in the heart of the
city, Cours Honoré Cresp.


In 3 weeks, 9 marble bloc from Carrare will become 9 monumental sculptures.


Sculptors : don\'t wait anymore to submit : « Inscription ».
Sculptors\'s submitment :


To be selected, you have to send the inscription\'s file filled up to the secrétariat of Mrs Masson-Marret before friday the 23thd of january (deadline).


After this sending, the jury meets on thursday the 12 of march to select the 9 sculptors that participate to the symposium. Results will be on this website on friday the 13 of march.


Compensation :


The town of Grasse will buy the sculptures entirely realised and finished during the symposium at a price of 3000€



Lodging :


Lodging and meals will be in the charge from sunday the 21st of june 2009 to saturday the 11th of July 2009 at 8 a.m
