Haiku International Contest

The editing board of the Journal of Romanian-Japanese cultural interferences HAIKU organizes its first Haiku International Contest. All the texts of the foreign authors have to be written in English or French, as well as in the native language. The contestants will send six haiku (5-7-5 syllables or fewer) up to 1 March 2007 on the following email addresses: vasilemoldovan@yahoo.com (for English) and valentin.nicolitov@autoexpert.ro (for French). Only the original haiku poems will be accepted, which were not published in newpapers or magazines, author volumes or in any other forms up to the date of the competitions. The prizes will consist of haiku books. The results of the competition will be published in the HAIKU magazine, issue #37 (spring/summer 2007)and the prizes and diplomas will be send to the winners by mail. -The Editing Board of the \"Haiku\" magazine
