The sadness is overwhelming
as our love slips away
I can feel it in my soul
a little more each day
We were supposed to be together
my soul mate, my split-apart
but it was only dreams and wishes
right from the very start…
Maybe if I remember
the beauty of it all
when \"over\" finally happens
I will rise up and not fall
As a new phase of life takes over
I open my eyes to finally see
that I’ll have you in my heart forever
and keep you always inside of me
Magic man, my magic man
you are the world to me
and I would give up the moon
just for one touch from thee
