remembering

For Pablo
He’s still here with us
like the setting sun
he’s in a wind’s gust
or sitting in on a midnight run
He won’t ever leave
he lives on still
we will bereave
and remember him on the hill
So think with a smile
as you remember our friend
apart from us for a while
but “with” us til the bitter end
He taught us much
with his out law way
and our hearts he did touch
I still see him today
grinning as he said “what the hell
was I gonna say”
