you wake up at night and you think you\'re an actor
in a sci fi movie
through the thin curtain you see the same damn neon
before you wake up for good
you have the feeling that the air is on fire
you carry the pillow on your back like a young soldier which you promised
to take home in one piece
you fall into a sleep that ends up hurting you
in your dreams you walk around st. james park
the lake water caresses the flagstones on the alleys
there\'s something tender in that ripple
you tell yourself that\'s the way you\'d touch a woman
you wake up in the morning and you don\'t know if you
or the company you work for
entered into insolvency
you go down carefully on the stairs
so you won\'t slip on the frozen sandstone
oh how you\'d want to be atreyu and save fantasia
from sadness
but you don\'t have an auryn just a plastic bag
which you throw in the garbage a bag full of dead flowers
which your mother got from her pupils
you begin to forget the important things
you don\'t remember if you locked the door when you left
instead you remember other trifles

you stop for a moment
