Yes, it’s a fact. Scientists did isolate
a gene that causes
meanness,
in a lab test on a horse embryo.
No more bronco busting;
mean, tough and rough – horseshit.
It can be fixed, geneticists believe.
Prospero will reign over a bubbling Merlin
trapped in a can of 7up.
Following that, very likely,
old occupations will go
out of business.
Mean times for priests,
gurus, social workers, tutors,
therapists.
(I’d better buy myself a smile
with that money from the Tooth Fairy)
