I am a zombie
must’ve been taken down by another
(my Mum, my Dad, I can’t remember)
we\'re all going forward
slowly
dragging our limbs
empty eyed
searching for warm flesh
a cure
or vindication day
the numbness inside
it’s quite pleasant
all I have to do
is feed
follow
feed
follow
they say we’re not alive anymore -
like they know!
I feel no different, anyway
