our life has become
an American film
we are the super heroes of our yet unwritten story
we do our own stunts
and show off our branded smiles
we are surrounded by interesting people
they laugh at our jokes
and our ego gets a daily massage
from compliments
we never ask for
our tears are fake
so is our tan
we prefer sushi to a real emotion
people are replaced by pets
and represented by cars
our clothes are vital to our cause
(designers will tell you why)
we eventually get to act our own real death
now, that\'s an achievement!
