The Lines of My Destiny

I count all my fingers
till night runs into dawn
I know by heart the long lines of my palm
still they crawl into each other
then suddenly dissapear
my destiny shouts
the broken lines run along my veins
and me
small, stubborn, wingless
sewing lines again and again
