KTKi No Tsurayuki
Poet (waka) japonez din era Heian. A trăit (probabil) între anii 872 și 945. *** Ki no Tsurayuki (872-945) was a Japanese author, poet and courtier of the Heian period. Tsurayuki was a son of Ki no Mochiyuki. He became a waka poet in the 890s. In 905, under the order of Emperor Daigo, he was one of four poets selected to compile the Kokin Wakashū, an anthology of poetry. After holding a few offices in Kyoto, he was appointed the provincial governor of Tosa province and stayed there from 930 until 935. Later he was presumably appointed the provincial governor of Suo province, since it was recorded that he held a waka party (Utaai) at his home in Suo. He is well-known for his waka and is counted as one of the Thirty-six Poetry Immortals selected by Fujiwara no Kinto. He was also known as one of the editors of the Kokin Wakashū. KCKamo no Chomei
Kamo no Chomei- poet, critic și eseist de origine japoneză- a trăit în perioada de tranziție de le epoca Heian la peioada Kamakura. S-a născut într-o familie de preoți șintoiști, în Kyoto. Și-a început cariera de poet la curtea imperială. A fost numit de împăratul Go-Toba membru al Inaltului Birou de Poezie (Wakadoro), unde a excelat ca estetician și critic literar. In anul 1204 a devenit preot budist și s-a retras în muntele Ohara, iar în 1208 s-a mutat în muntele Hino (lângă Uji, la sud de Kyoto). Chomei și-a definit idealul de pustnic în lucrarea sa “Hojoki” (Insemnări din coliba mea, 1212), un “zuihitsu” (însemnări la întâmplare) care a devenit lucrare de referință în literatura japoneză. Opere: se remarcă în antologia Shin Kokinshu și în alte antologii imperiale Culegerea de versuri Kamo no Chomei Shu (1181) Mumyosho (Insemnări fără căpătâi, 1211) Hojoki (Insemnări din coliba mea, 1212)
