Jaime Gil de Biedma y Alba (Nava de la Asunción, Segovia, 13 de noviembre de 1929 - Barcelona, 8 de enero de 1990) fue un poeta español, uno de los autores más importantes de la Generación del 50. Nacido en 1929 el seno de una familia de la alta burguesía castellana, su padre se trasladó a Barcelona para trabajar en la Compañía de Tabacos de Filipinas. El que fuera su despacho puede ser visitado hoy en día en el Hotel 1898 en La Rambla de Barcelona. Gil de Biedma estudió Derecho en Barcelona y en Salamanca, donde obtuvo la licenciatura en dicha materia. Su poesía evoluciona desde los primeros poemas intimistas de Las afueras al compromiso social de Compañeros de viaje. Claudio Rodríguez García (Zamora, 30 de enero de 1934 - Madrid, 22 de julio de 1999) fue un poeta español. Hijo de María García Moralejo, de arraigadas convicciones burguesas y heredera de alguna que otra propiedad en Zamora, y de Claudio Rodríguez Diego, de origen humilde y gran lector de poesía y autor de algunos versos, y con quien se lleva bastante mal. En 1939 nace su hermano Javier y en 1945, las gemelas Marisa y Maricarmen. Su apodo es "Cayín". [[eng]] Adam Duritz is an innovative lyricist and piano player who brings the same soul to his friends and lifestyle as he does to the beautiful lyrics and music that he performs. Duritz joined and performed in the Bay area band "The Himalayans" until 1991 at which time he left to form Counting Crows. Before he left, however, material was recorded which eventually lead to the release of the 2002 album "She likes the Weather".
