OPOdilon-Jean Périer
Odilon-Jean Périer est un poète belge d'expression française né à Bruxelles le 9 mars 1901 et mort à Bruxelles le 22 février 1928. De son vrai nom Jean Périer, il choisit le pseudonyme Jean-Odilon Périer pour éviter la confusion avec un acteur célèbre de son époque. Fils de banquier et petit-fils d'Albert Thys, il se destine d'abord au droit qu'il étudie à l'ULB. Poète des réalités simples et quotidiennes, il a également laissé un roman, Le Passage des anges (1926), dont le thème semble avoir été exploité dans Les Ailes du désir de Wim Wenders, et une pièce de théâtre, Les Indifférents (1925). Il meurt à l'âge de 27 ans et est enterré à Dalhem. Une fontaine a été érigée en son honneur, avenue Louise à Bruxelles. JRJean Richepin
Jean Richepin, né à Médéa (Algérie) le 4 février 1849 et mort à Paris le 12 décembre 1926, est un poète, romancier et auteur dramatique français. Ce poète turbulent, fils d'un médecin militaire breton, eut dans sa jeunesse une réputation de « fort en thème », ce qui lui permit de faire de brillantes études secondaires et d'intégrer l'École normale supérieure en 1868, avant d'obtenir une licence ès lettres en 1870. Avec la guerre, il prend goût à l'aventure en s'engageant dans un corps de francs-tireurs et, faisant alors l'expérience de la liberté, il mène pendant quatre ans une vie d'errance, gagnant sa vie en s'engageant successivement comme journaliste, professeur, matelot, docker à Naples et à Bordeaux. Jalāl ad-Dīn Muḥammad Balkhī, also known as Jalāl ad-Dīn Muḥammad Rūmī, and popularly known as Mowlānā but known to the English-speaking world simply as Rumi (30 September 1207 – 17 December 1273), was a 13th-century Persian (Tajik) Muslim poet, jurist, theologian, and Sufi mystic. Rūmī is a descriptive name meaning "the Roman" since he lived most of his life in an area called Rūm because it was once ruled by the Eastern Roman Empire. It is likely that he was born in the village of Wakhsh, a small town located at the river Wakhsh in what is now Tajikistan. Wakhsh belonged to the larger province of Balkh, and in the year Rumi was born, his father was an appointed scholar there. Nicolae Davidescu (n. 24 octombrie 1888, București - d. 12 iunie 1954, București) a fost poet, prozator și critic literar legat de mișcarea simbolistă. Petre Stoica (n. 15 februarie 1931, Peciu Nou, județul Timiș - d. 21 martie 2009, Jimbolia, județul Timiș) este un poet, traducător, publicist, colecționar de presă și bibliofil român, considerat scriitorul cu cea mai mare longevitate literară. A fost unul dintre întemeietorii spirituali ai "generației 60" alături de Nichita Stănescu, Matei Călinescu, Mircea Ivănescu, Cezar Baltag, Modest Morariu, Vasile Gordu. MMModest Morariu
Modest Morariu (n. 11 august 1929, Cernăuți - d. 15 aprilie 1988) a fost un poet, eseist, prozator și traducător român. Descendent al unei vechi familii de intelectuali din Cernăuți, printre care se numără și mitropolitul Silvestru, fiul său, Vasile Morariu fiind coleg cu Mihai Eminescu la Viena. Liceul l-a început la Cernăuți și l-a continuat în diferite orașe din România, unde părinții săi au venit în refugiu. A absolvit Facultatea de Filologie a Universității din București în 1954. A debutat în revista Steaua în 1958. Din 1959 după un stagiu la revistele La Roumanie Nouvelle, după ce a fost corector la Gazeta literară, devine redactor la editura Meridiane, unde va îngriji mai multe albume de artă.
