Jean Maurice Eugène Clément Cocteau, né le 5 juillet 1889 à Maisons-Laffitte, mort le 11 octobre 1963 à Milly-la-Forêt, est un poète français, artiste aux multiples talents, graphiste, dessinateur, auteur de théâtre, mais aussi cinéaste. Il fut élu à l\'Académie française en 1955. Il compte parmi les artistes qui ont marqué leur époque et côtoya la plupart de ceux qui animèrent la vie artistique de son époque. Jean FANCHETTE est né à Rose-Hill, île Maurice, le 6 mai 1932. Il a commencé ses études de Médecine en France à l\'âge de 19 ans et publie trés jeune, deux receuils de poésies qui seront consacrés par des prix prestigieux : le prix Paul Valery en 1956 pour son recueil de poésie \"les midis du sang\" et le prix Fénéon pour \"archipels\" en 1958. Il a publié plusieurs autres recueils de poésie \"Osmoses\" en 1954, \"Identité provisoire\" en 1965, \"je m\'appelle sommeil\" en 1977 et \"la visitation de l\'oiseau pluvier en 1977 qui lui a valu une correspondance admirative du grand poète français René CHAR Une large sélection de ses poèmes, dont certains inédits, a été effectué par les Editions Stock dont le plan a été conçu par Jean FANCHETTE lui-même plusieurs mois avant sa mort survenue à Paris en mars 1992. Jehan Desmaretz, alias Jean Marot (Mathieu, près de Caen, v. 1465 - Paris, v. 1526), écrivain français de la fin du XVe et du début du XVIe siècle, qui fut un poète et grand rhétoriqueur . Jean Marot reçut une éducation négligée. On ne lui fit point apprendre le latin ; mais il y suppléa, autant qu'il fut en lui, en étudiant dans les auteurs l'histoire, la fable et la poésie. Le Roman de la Rose était sa lecture favorite. Sa bonne conduite et quelques vers qu'il avait composés lui méritèrent la protection d'Anne de Bretagne, depuis femme de Louis XII ; il fut son secrétaire en 1506 et son poète en titre ; et, par son ordre, il suivit Louis XII dans ses expéditions de Gènes et de Venise, avec mission expresse de les célébrer c'est ce qu'il fit dans deux poèmes intitulés l'un Voyage de Gênes, l'autre Voyage de Venise, où l'emploi du merveilleux ne nuit en rien à l'exactitude historique. CFColin Forbes
Colin Forbes was the principal pseudonym of British novelist Raymond Harold Sawkins (born in Hampstead, London on 14 July 1923, died on 23 August 2006). Sawkins wrote over 40 books, mostly as Colin Forbes. He was most famous for his long-running series of thriller novels in which the principal character is Tweed, Deputy Director of the Secret Intelligence Service. Sawkins attended The Lower School of John Lyon in Harrow, London. At the age of 16 he started work as a sub-editor with a magazine and book publishing company. He served with the British Army in North Africa and the Middle East during World War II. Before his demobilisation he was attached to the Army Newspaper Unit in Rome. Rose Ausländer (numele la naștere Rosalie Beatrice Ruth Scherzer ) (n. 11 mai 1901, Cernăuți - d. 3 ianuarie 1988, Düsseldorf) a fost o scriitoare de limba germană și limba engleză originară din Bucovina. Provine dintr-o familie de evrei ortodocși, tatăl se numea Sigmund iar mama Etie Rifke Binder. După moartea tatălui, la sfatul mamei ei, a emigrat spre Statele Unite și acolo s-a căsătorit cu Ignazi Ausländer și după trei ani au divorțat. În această perioadă a început să scrie poezie în liumba germană. După ce mama ei s-a înbolnăvit grav Rose a revenit la Cernăuți ca să aibă grijă de ea și a continuat să scrie.
