ARAdrienne Rich
Adrienne Cecile Rich is an American poet, essayist and feminist. She has been called "one of the most widely read and influential poets of the second half of the 20t century Adrienne Rich was born in Baltimore, Maryland on May 16, 1929. Her father, Arnold Rice Rich, was a professor of medicine at Johns Hopkins Medical School. Her mother, Helen Jones Rich, studied musical composition and was a concert pianist but after becoming a wife and mother, she focused her life entirely on her husband and two daughters. Adrienne Rich's early poetic influence stemmed from her father who encouraged her to not only read but also to write her own poetry. Her interest in literature was sparked within her father's library where she read the work of writers such as Matthew Arnold, William Blake, Thomas Carlyle, John Keats, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, and Alfred, Lord Tennyson. MMMaram al - Masri
Maram al-Masri est née en 1962 à Lattaquié en Syrie, sur cette rive de la Méditerranée située à vingt milles marins à peine de l\'île de Cypris. Vivant à Paris depuis 1982, cette jeune Syrienne, après un premier livre publié en 1984 à Damas sous le titre \"Je te menace d\'une colombe blanche\", revient à la poésie avec \"Cerise rouge sur un carrelage blanc\", édité à Tunis par les éditions de L\'Or du Temps, en 1997, et salué par la critique des pays arabes. Le tout récent prix du Forum culturel libanais en France, auquel a participé le poète libanais Adonis et destiné à récompenser toute création littéraire arabe, lui a été attribué en mars 1998. D\'autre part, ce livre a été traduit en espagnol et en partie en anglais, en allemand, en Italien et en turc. Cette poésie est le cri étouffé et nu de la femme qui attend tout de l\'homme aimé. Cette revendication féminine bien éloignée de toute préoccupation hédoniste, n\'est pas non plus une nouvelle voix qui soulèverait la chape de plomb...

Olavo Bilac s-a nascut pe 16-XII-1865 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazilia si a murit pe 28-XII-1918. Este considerat cel mai mare poet care a scris vreodata in portugheza.Maestru desavarsit al modelarii versului, cu un metru si rime ideal alese, poemele sale sunt naturale, sentimentale si in ciuda constructiei riguroasa a versului nu dau impresia de artificialitate. Micu Mircea s-a născut la 31 ianuarie 1937 în comuna Vârșand, județul Arad, pe granița cu Ungaria. Tatăl a fost ofițer de Jandarmi, mort în timpul războiului, mama casnică. A copilărit și și-a făcut școala primară în satul vecin, Grăniceri, la un unchi al său după mamă. Având în familie doi intelectuali, crescuți în spiritul Școlii Ardelene, beneficiază de lecturi literare so-lide. În 1950, se mută la Arad, urmează un an cursu-rile Liceului „Moise Nicoară“, după care se înscrie la Școala Pedagogică de Învățători. După absolvire, frecventează cursurile Facultății de Filologie, vreme de trei ani. Se angajează în învățământ, la Șiria (satul lui Slavici), predând ca profesor su-plinitor. Își dă definitivatul în Surdo-pedagogie. Ocupă, rând pe rând, postul de redactor la Stația locală de radio, redactor la ziarul local din Arad.
