Horațiu Ioan Lașcu

n. 8 mai 1964, Iași – m. 23 oct. 1997, Botoșani Poet și publicist. Și-a petrecut copilăria în comuna Stâncești, jud. Botoșani, unde parcurge și cursurile școlii primare (1970-1974). Studiile gimnaziale la Școala Generală „Octav Băncilă” (1974-1978) și liceale la Liceul Pedagogic, secția filologie-istorie (tr. I, 1978-1980) și Liceul de filologie-istorie „Mihai Eminescu” din Botoșani (1980-1982); Facultatea de Filologie-Istorie, secția română, a Universității „Al.I. Cuza” din Iași (1983-1987). Primii trei ani după absolvirea studiilor și-i petrece la catedră, ca profesor de limba și literatura română, la Școala Generală Todireni, jud. Inga Clendinnen

Inga Vivienne Clendinnen AO (born 17 August 1934) is an Australian author and historian, anthropologist and academic. Born in Geelong, Victoria, Clendinnen graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1955 with a BA (Hons). She sporadically held the post of Senior Tutor of History there from 1955 to 1968, was a Lecturer at La Trobe University from 1969 to 1982, and was then a Senior Lecturer in History until 1989. Forced to curtail her academic activities due to contracting hepatitis, Clendinnen retained an association with La Trobe University while working on her memoir, Tiger's Eye. In 1999, she was invited to present the 40th annual Boyer Lectures. Her lectures were published in 2000 as True Stories. John Keats

John Keats was born on 31 October 1795 (probably), first child of Thomas Keats and Frances Jennings Keats, who had apparently eloped1. Everything was pretty ordinary for all concerned for a while--the Keatses had three more sons (George and Thomas, plus Edward who died as a baby) and one daughter, Frances, by 1803. That was also the year when John went away to school at Enfield. In 1804, John\'s father was killed in a fall from a horse. Just over two months later, for mysterious reasons, Frances remarried, to a London bank clerk named William Rawlings.
