Marie-Claire Blais (n. 5 octombrie 1939) este o scriitoare canadiană de limbă franceză. *** Born in Quebec City, Quebec, she was educated at a convent school and at Université Laval. It was at Laval that she met Jeanne Lapointe and Father Georges Lévesque, who encouraged her to write and, in 1959, to publish her first novel, La Belle Bête (trans. Mad Shadows) in 1959 when she turned 20. She has since written over 20 novels, several plays, collections of poetry and fiction, as well newspaper articles. Né le 29 mars à Montréal en 1933, Jacques Brault est poète, romancier et essayiste. Il a été professeur à l'Université de Montréal de 1960 à 1996, d'abord en Études médiévales puis en Études françaises. De 1970 à 1995, il a participé à de nombreuses émissions littéraires, à la chaîne FM de Radio-Canada et sur les ondes de la Communauté radiophonique de langue française. Brault décède le 19 octobre 2022 à l’âge de 89 ans à l’hôpital BMP de Cowansville et ses obsèques auront lieu le 4 novembre 2022 au Complexe funéraire Brome-Missisquoi à Cowansville au même endroit où son épouse Madeleine Breton (1928-2014) l’avait devancé le 18 mars 2014. Poet (waka) japonez din era Heian. A trăit (probabil) între anii 872 și 945. *** Ki no Tsurayuki (872-945) was a Japanese author, poet and courtier of the Heian period. Tsurayuki was a son of Ki no Mochiyuki. He became a waka poet in the 890s. In 905, under the order of Emperor Daigo, he was one of four poets selected to compile the Kokin Wakashū, an anthology of poetry. After holding a few offices in Kyoto, he was appointed the provincial governor of Tosa province and stayed there from 930 until 935. Later he was presumably appointed the provincial governor of Suo province, since it was recorded that he held a waka party (Utaai) at his home in Suo. He is well-known for his waka and is counted as one of the Thirty-six Poetry Immortals selected by Fujiwara no Kinto. He was also known as one of the editors of the Kokin Wakashū.
