Acolo unde copilăria nu se pierde niciodată pe ulițele satului pline de praf, în luna când florile se rup din mugure prevestind învierea lui Isus. S-a risipit în parfumul universului, cu o chitară adesea sub braț, trecănd trist pe străzile întunecate ale unui oraș din România. Un steag, o mașină de tors, o lampă de mină, o piatră de la Chiuzbaia și alte câteva obiecte rustice, reprezintă pentru el zestrea româneascăa printre străaini.
