Lassi Nummi (born 1928) considers himself a prose-writer who has strayed into poetry. In a career spanning almost half a century and 25 collections of poetry, his preoccupations, and his central metaphors, have remained constant: landscape, trees, bushes, blades of grass. MRMaurice Rollinat
Maurice Rollinat (December 29, 1846 in Châteauroux, France – October 26, 1903 in Ivry-sur-Seine) was a French poet. His father represented Indre in the National Assembly of 1848, and was a friend of George Sand, whose influence is very marked in young Rollinat's first volume, Dans les brandes (1877), and to whom it was dedicated. After its publication, he abandoned realism and worked in a very different manner. He joined a literary circle that called themselves Les Hydropathes, founded by Émile Goudeau, an anti-clerical group with ties to the decadent literary movement. Under their influence wrote the poems that made his reputation. In Les Névroses, with the sub-title Les Âmes, Les Luxures, Les Refuges, Les Spectres, Les Ténèbres, he showed himself as a disciple of Charles Baudelaire. Jean-Marie-Mathias-Philippe-Auguste, comte de Villiers de l'Isle-Adam (7 November 1838 – 19 August 1889) was a French symbolist writer. Villiers de l'Isle-Adam was born in Saint-Brieuc, Brittany, to a distinguished aristocratic family. His parents, Marquis Joseph-Toussaint and Marie-Francoise (née Le Nepvou de Carfort) were not rich, however, and were financially supported by Marie's aunt, Mademoiselle de Kerinou. His father became obsessed with the idea he could restore the family fortune by finding the lost treasure of the Knights of Malta (Philippe Villiers de L'Isle-Adam, 16th century Grand Master of the Knights Hospitaller, was his ancestor), which had reputedly been buried near Quintin during the French Revolution. Consequently, he spent large sums of money buying land, excavating it and then selling it at a loss when he failed to find anything of value. Joe Duggan is a poet, writer and facilitator, originally from Northern Ireland. His first full collection “Fizzbombs” was published by Tall Lighthouse in 2008. He was highly commended in The Forward Prize 2009 and featured in the Forward Book of Poetry 2010. He was a founder member of the “Bunch of Chancers” Poetry Group in Derry, touring throughout Ireland and New York State. His work has been published by Brand, Abridged, Fingerpost, Bear in Mind (Lagan Press), Cúirt Journal and the Shuffle Anthology. PLPaul-Marie Lapointe
Paul-Marie Lapointe est né à Saint-Félicien, le 22 septembre 1929 et il a étudié au Séminaire de Chicoutimi, au Collège Saint-Laurent et enfin à l`École des Beaux-Arts de Montréal. Journaliste à L`événement et au journal La Presse depuis 1950, il est directeur de l`information au Nouveau Journal de 1960 à 1961, puis rédacteur en chef du magazine Maclean`s de 1963 à 1969.... De 1969 à 1992, il occupe différents postes à Radio-Canada. Il a également participé à la fondation de la revue Liberté et a fait partie de l`équipe des Éditions de l`Hexagone. Sa poésie a été traduite dans plusieurs langues. En 1971, Paul-Marie Lapointe reçoit le Prix Athanase-David pour l`ensemble de son oeuvre ainsi que le Prix du Gouverneur général du Canada pour son recueil "Le Réel absolu". Il obtient également le Prix de l`International Poetry Forum (États-Unis) en 1976, le Prix de La Presse en 1980 et le Prix Léopold-Senghor en 1998.
