In the middle of the night
I shade my thoughts away
love is not what I meant
hurt is all that it takes
In the middle of the bed
I lay on one side of my face
my pillow is getting arrest
for all the things I have dreamt
In the middle of the day
I stay at the corner of me
looking at how giddy I am
incurved in all that mushy love
for somebody else\'s friend
