I see you every day,
like a thousand others you pass me by,
caught inside the net
of your busy thinking
stranger,
I’m looking into your eyes,
which see me, without seeing,
through the veil of your worries
I sneak like a shadow…
Hiding behind your dreams,
I see my small self,
my little life in my tiny world…
so much like yours,
our basic needs-
warmth and shelter,
the hunger for love-
we have the same fears
and questions…basically-
maybe I have given you
comfort with a smile…
an answer in the blink of an eye
while you were passing by…
