I miss you,

not your skin, your smile,

I miss the long while

we spent apart,

when you lived in my heart,

but you didn’t know…

I miss you, the defeat,

the hope of victory

then,the desperation, finally

almost like a relief...

The deception of you I miss,

the love you weren’t prepared to give,

the dream of what will never be,

the joy of hoping, the tears of disappointing me,

I miss the thunder in my heart when you’re near,

the illusion that has disappeared,

my vision is blurred from reality,

it’s now indifference that I see…

The eyes of love are closed again,

I loved you and loved not in vain,

now emptiness is draining me,

all cold and dry is my sea

yet, I still miss the you,

the you I never knew...
