Walking on this field
touching the grass,
treading it down, crushing it
with heavy feet,
What does it feel,
the grass, the field,
I wonder, me the invader,
am I welcome, am I cursed,
am I the destroyer,
am I the lover, caressing the grass
enriching it with my energy,
involving it in my thoughts,
in my poetry...
taking it into my arms,
making it mine?
