Those precious moments flee,
While time plans carefully,
Her each and every step –
Cherished the seconds few
And far between me and you,
Still fall through emotion’s web
Those golden moments fly
Away before our very eyes,
In a heartbeat they’re lost
And distorted by memory,
Through a veil of roses we see
What we wish to have back at all cost
