I tried to save your soul last night,

But you were too proud to be rescued,

You ain’t no prince, you are not perfect,

But I gave you a chance to try to be one.

Someday…..

I tried to tell a secret last night,

We all have bad and good parts deep inside,

We only show the one we want,

I see goodness flickering in all, in you as well.

Someday ….

You thought I was dreaming last night,

It was not you the one I saw behind,

No, you don’t posses the light,

I will definitely wake up, and you not find.

Someday….

I tried to save your soul last night,

You do have faults, and weaknesses like all

But I gave you a chance to be your best.

Someday…..

I wanna let you go tonight,

I’ll take my space to someplace else,

You’ll be stronger for awhile without my fight,

Hope you find someone to give you this try again.
