In Memoriam September Eleven

Light crushes down like an ice castle
when bleak star pierces through from afar
the dream is wounded now close to the dawn
and poor me, I cannot unchain myself
It is a time of dying venom and hatred
deep and ravenously nibbling what is left
roams the streets with my humble stare back
I tilt and bow before the innocence
of those who fed the tempest.
Silence surrounds me like a broken clock
blind politics slayed poetry
I wish I could spread myself to all my foes
as Jesus spreads his vestment
in times of yore
…
An isolated tear rooted in my eye
carries within the suffering
of thousands of lives yet their voice narrates me the dream`s Resurrection
to come from the light shivers
of a New Dawn.
