We pretend we know everything
On disillusionment
Though there is something new to learn from it,
Though there are endless pages to read about
Disguise - however much we recap -
For this lesson is long.
It resembles our wild desire to have wings
To get faster to the other end of the world.
It is hard to accept
That wings are not meant for humans.
Therefore, the child in us
Invents angels.
