We grew apart
baby did a bad bad thing

Say the magic word before you enter my heart
Eyes covered and mouths dumb
One day I decided to swallow up the sky
Chew the mountains
and breathe in all the seas
I broke in two thunderstruck
my me to the left
my you to the right like a scar.
your presence still lingers here
and feeds my anxiety
alone I step toward the dead end of my road
you’d been my compass
and made me loose balance
and sucked all my sanity
in your good-bye breath
who can say where the day flows
where my wave leads
where your voice calls
We’re rowing perpendicular
On our separate seas,
Two boats without sails and destination
Your sea, tangent to mine
Flowing into my waters in monochrome whirlpools
I wish I were a siren
And enchant your moves, your sight and mind
So that you loose control
And throw yourself wholly into me
Wicked seabirds only
Feeding from my loins
And poisonous fish sliding down my twisted body
