Caged souls, for it is destiny
That we should never part,
The soft unfold of reverie
We’ve carried through the dark…
The moonlight shades a lonely tear
Its glow pale and serene,
And you are mine, and you are near…
A dream within a dream…
So quiet now the forest hums…
The fields of flowers sleep...
You, cuddled deep within their arms
Our love, forever weep…
