The ocean is grumbling
He says I am attractive
I don’t even know what that means
The apple crunches between her teeth while
a tune absorbs us all into its vacuum
He tells all the girls the same, you know
The car keeps rolling into the sunset
and soon it will be so night
Can we turn on the light inside our bodies?
