A patch of dirt breathes and sweats,
It's in the throes of childbirth.
It gives up to itself to become,
Out of itself a snowdrop rises.
The patch of dirt is filled with wonder.
So much beauty and fragility,
It didn't know was in itself.
It praises the Sun for its existence.
The Sun is filled with wonder too,
So different from itself is Earth,
So much he's worth the sacrifice.
It praises the Father from within.
