The scent of you lingers
in the corners of my mind
accompanied by faded
memories of
golden days with you
A time when there were
no half-hearted smiles
and the only gloom in
my life came from a
rain-soaked afternoon
Reflecting in the deepest
closets of my mind
are visions of the \"we\" that was
From deep within I hear
the echoes of your voice
whispering to me in
the darkness and
for a brief moment
I can relive \"us\"
