Like a chilly autumn day,
the wind of your words whip
around me taking my breath away,
scattering my thoughts like leaves
The heat from your anger
melts my confidence
as you walk in the door -
I knew what I was going to say
and then I shriveled like a
flower on a dry and dusty August day
The ice water in your veins
makes me shiver like the coldest
of winter\'s blizzards
Spring, come now and bring forth
your new growth and with it
my strength...
