In spite of the somewhat lonely times
I would have it no other way…
for without you here there is a vast
emptiness in my heart,
a void that needs filling,
a soul that must be fed
And as I await the day
when the clouds open up
and the rain stops
I daydream and wish and wonder
and know that I will never settle for second best...
Come when you can, magic one
yet come you must
for if found soumates fail to join
what existence will we know
but eternal sorrow and regret?
