Into the depths of my memory
in my mind’s eye I can still see…
playing leap frog or bouncing on Daddy’s knee
I knew not then, as a child, fresh and green
the worth of all yet to be seen
Memories fade, yet linger still
and I wish for the days when life was at will
Family stays with us, long after they pass
Ah, with memories, the good times, last and last…
