Letting Go

Today is the day I set myself free

yet living on faith to be sure

I ask myself is this where I want to be

and my answer is true and pure

Yes I say, it has to be this way

for turning back is not to be done

for if I let this marriage stay

I would be the lonely one

Its sad to have to hurt someone

to find your destiny

but hurting me has long since been done

and maybe we will both be free

Times are not easy, nor come without pain

faith I must live on now

walking through life harmony my gain

Let the light just show me how
