Elegy

I am not afraid of dying
but us not being together anymore
frightens me

or sitting by the grape vine
on a bench in someone else\'s dream
garden

quartz buds bursting from my arms
too heavy to lift the glass
to your lips

wine coagulating into sand grapes
in heart\'s sandglass
broken
