Stolen sky

How could you steal the satin sky
The moment when I stepped on it?
You left the comets fall and die
Smashed by taxis on the street.
I caught the moon and skinned my knees;
Although the moon was broken too
It held me up above the trees:
That crock was friendlier than you.
And when you came and cracked the moon
I fell on our willow tree
That was supposed to witness soon
Another flight of falling me.
Because you\'ve burned the willow down,
Destroying everything we\'ve had
And now I watch its autumn crown
Bursting flames above my head.
You fold the sky and pack it up.
My dear, you\'ve turned into a beast.
You\'ve stolen all. Why don\'t you stop?
Why don\'t you leave the ground at least?
