Once upon a time I was
Around you
A bird, a snake, or a monster
I was pursuing the way you exist like an eagle
I was drinking you off with so much pleasure, like a snake
I wanted you only for me like a monster
And I couldn’t let you go
From you towards me…
I was so many times your cage
That the butterfly in you turned into a caterpillar
And then I gave you the apple inside me
To sin when you bite me
So that I can be your saviour
And smile childishly to me
Once upon a time I let you be a flower
Nursed by me with my soul
And I let you be the carnivorous herbivorous
Only to be in a story
With you
