Any marvel I touch wrong and I don’t read well
The sound stumbles on the idea’s barbed wire
the words crowd on the tongue of my soul
the sssound strains itself hideously on finger tips
and it yells earless
and my ether rottens
and it falls in my hands
and I can’t taste a wind breath
which I’ve been fighting
since I was in the heat of emptiness;
I’d put it in a word.
But I have no mouth for water
or wind,
I have only a soul disappearing
