i live the time of the great silence,
poetry has divorced
the word.
my only belief remains
rock
and denial.
in the morning,
the light bulb washes its body
in the lucid transparency of coffee.
i cannot write another line
without looking into the eyes of the rain
to recognize
my loneliness.
