I would send you a flower, my dear
To show you it’s spring again;
There’s no need to look out of the window
Or to read the news in the gazette.
I would send you a blossom of light
A cherry or an apple blossom or a jasmine
A sensible bunch of snowdrops
And a little bit of joy.
But I’m shy and unmanly
For such a hard proof.
I would send you a flower, my dear
But I’m afraid I won’t be able to.
I would like to shout it loud
To hear yourself I love you
But, when I’m next to you
I don’t know how but I am mute.
I animate myself to tell you clearly
But I still play around with words
How beautiful words I would tell you
If I wouldn’t be so childish.
I woke up wishing to tell you something
And wishing to tell you something, I grimace
I look at you and tell you nothing
And this is why you think I’m dolt.
I don’t even know why I am so scared
What could you do? Be deaf
To my inner fire inside my words
And serenely you could refuse.
But then everything will disappear
My dream of you will be so empty
Let me dream you always
Because it’s better state for me.
I dream you as the Celtic princess
Silver fish lively jump in our boat;
When oaring on an endless delta
The love for you takes me high like the vodka.
Let’s elope in the world
Come on, descend when I’m calling you
Take on your shoulders my love for you
And a cashmere sweater because it is cold.
I’ll enthrall you with unmeasured gold
And rings on your fingers I’ll set
To see yourself how much I care
And why your fingers have such weight.
You’re so dear to me, but you don’t even know
That from the shadows I shamefaced love
Though from now on I’ll tell it to the world
And I will e-mail it to you on internet.
I can’t stand to know you are so far,
I love you even now when I am writing….
My dear, I would send you a flower
Until all these won’t be too late.
