subway & happiness

some say that happiness is to be found in simple things,

walking on the grass, nodding your head, writing poetry,

others think that God gives you happiness

then he takes it back when you\'re sad or selfish,

I found mine in the subway-

walking in town, underground art kisses me,

the rush of being the first, you unconsciously stumble

of Austrian poetry/ fast-forward Jewish ghetto

through piano sounds I hit the deaf memory

she vibrates & vibrates & vibrates

of longing-my head beeps

i\'m happy-the echo twitters-

i\'m happy in the subway
