yesterday it was a lost world
drinks spilled all over-
God, living in Soho is a drag
my space is your space
the Guru said with a pertinent wink
pray to our neighbors, Glamor said,
-sad poetess, romantic actress,
man, this life is \"parfait\",
join today with a smoke in your hair
join brothers in arms and velvet movies
proud of living in Soho
-the place where I wish to die
next to the fast-pumping radio
(tap, tap, tap)
my romance is the next door\'s Marlon Brando
so many famous people, dear Charlie
so many of them
they are going to feed diamond dreams to you,
silly kid, my one blue love
(sing, sing, sing)
