Trying to find you

Walking on the streets of an empty and old town, I have tried to find you. But after long walks in the hot summer I got lost in a deaf and hostile darkness. I have passed through forests followed by the Moon\'s shadows, and i cried for you, calling your name out loud. But the only answer i got was the echo. And soon, my voice got lost in tears and covered in fear. I miss the golden field with red poppy flowers where we were running holding hands. I miss the white butterflies flying around us in a spring afternoon. Where have they all gone? Where have you gone, crystal love in which I believed with all my heart and power, at which I dreamed every day...? But now-every shadow around is painful. So is the earth i walk on, so is the sunset. I look inside me and see the last november leaf in an empty tree: it\'s just my soul . And it wants you back...
