Smiling, you

(poem by Dorin Cozan)

The Great Art overlooks the killing, that is a spoiling of the eunuchs
Instead she watches the breaking of a finger, and
The Great Artist always chooses the little one.
It’s a fact. Every woman is, from head to her little finger
An impossible being. Therefore her breaking is a gift
You have it or you don’t, the rest is all about exercise.
The Great Artist hates the women (thought to be) beautiful. This is the first Rule
This is, after all, His Failure and Salvation.
Every woman, after His infallible logic, is a bitter flower.
So, it must die. She has to give birth, more accurately said, she has to be born,
To bend under the hands and feet of the Absolute gardener.
This is, briefly, the first lesson of all: being hit means, to you,
Being under the protection of God. God speaks to you or not
He gives you food, water, or sends you to bed without anything.
If He wants, He makes you happy with a glance.
If He wants, He can have you anytime, anywhere.
This is the great Secret. It binds itself in the flesh. Any ignorant
Would laugh and yawn out of his great Christian ignorance.
This is how the Great Artist speaks: “your little finger is a bird,
it is also heaven.
a passion for paradox
an unbearable light”.
You know, that if you feel you are what you are, you do not have to answer back
You are not allowed.
You may smile, with all of your skin and bones. Smiling, you
Shall die suffocated by happiness.
