Beyond Reality: The Unfair Parting

Confused and lost, alone in my soul,
I feel my way through darkness, yet nothing is at place.
I reach for you... I grasp you... I’m mad beyond control...
I yearn to breathe you in, to touch your lips, your face...
And then this darkness claims me. And then I hope again.
I’m all emotion sometimes; sometimes emotions pain.
You’re there... I know, I feel it, I sense it with my heart.
You’re there, and it’s unfair that we are now apart.
