I’m silent and I’m absent
My image is wavy and unclear
I spy on you
I am at a loss for words
Memories of the past
Some covered by dust
Some simply left to rust
Life is too vast
To remember every single feeling belonging to the past
Let’s repeat those moments
Let’s pretend
We are last year
I have recorded it all
It’s in my mind
Sometimes I wish
To leave all acquaintances behind
To get them out of my mind
To cut my past with a knife
horses walking rhythmically in a circle
they lost their rhythm
they went faster and faster
until they disappeared
leaving the merry-go-round
I felt like Alice in Wonderland
trapped
as I lost my way
lying down, surrounded by some doctors
who put something with a needle in my chest
a device like a perfusion
they told me I could take it off
it tore away some of my skin
the scenery moved incredibly fast to one side
as I sat in the taxi cab
then I saw it upside down
then some window pieces
When I thought my world had ended
They kept on telling me it just started
I tried to fix a living bird
but it took away its wing
into its beak
and escaped
I want to be there
Where the unicorn runs freely
By that river
I want to be high up on that huge wave
Which now goes down
Sweeping all over that beach
Have I fallen into the lake
And are you getting me out
In the dark foggy night?
Am I daydreaming
Lying on the grass?
You’re with me everywhere
