This awkward rain that falls over the city…
I once dreamt of crimson rain, dripping from the sky
covering the scorched walls in blood…
maybe it was just a revelation.
I’m so sick of you all, the angel said, looking over the earth
and the rain started to pour down
every step is like a wound on the ground
where to go? where to hide?
Birds with soiled wings fly in circles over my head
my years are filled with screams
as they fall and die…
ahhh…this crimson rains of my dreams…
