Self denial

I do remember I once dreamed of you and me under a sky of night

hand in hand holding our bare souls in one embrace

words needless.

from this other side of the abyss the reflection in the mirror shrugs at me

I am not you.

yet I can feel the trees blossoming under my skin in innocent white,listening to your voice just a step away...

I do remember the pain crawling in every tissue of my heart

no use to walk eyes opened

thinking of the unsaid

It’s not me.
