This flood of memories
with you
is a lonely river
a monologue in front of the sun
a shimmering day
an ebbing storm
a sylph
an undulating statue
in the mirror of the sky
an origami of tears and waves
a resplendent season of dahlias
my memories with you
the heaving sand that covers
the telluric scent of water
this river of no return
this incessant redeeming nostalgia.
